Open Letter to the HypeSaints Community

TL;DR:

Community Test will officially conclude on June 19th, and HypeSaints will permanently close the Polygon App, fully migrating to TON. All user assets will be preserved and migrated 100%.

Dear Saints,

Today, we would like to share a significant transition that HypeSaints is about to undergo: we will conclude the Community Test on June 19th and lead the community to a complete migration to the TON ecosystem, ensuring the seamless migration of all user assets.

Please rest assured that this decision has been made after careful consideration. We firmly believe that it aligns better with HypeSaints’ future roadmap and will infuse the community with more vitality and fresh perspectives. Additionally, we would like to provide you with the reasons behind this decision as well as its associated impacts.

Reasons for Choosing to Migrate to the TON Ecosystem:

1. Through our communication with the Polygon official team in May, we discovered that Polygon’s future focus on ZK and Bridge infrastructures does not align with HypeSaints’ goals. Consequently, Polygon’s support for projects similar to HypeSaints would be limited.
2. Based on the extensive and valuable feedback received from the community during the May survey, we recognized the community’s desire for a smoother user experience, unburdened by frequent interactions with the blockchain during each step (despite the enhanced decentralization and transparency this provides). Achieving this objective would require significant modifications to the technical framework, striking a balance between centralization and decentralization. However, implementing such adjustments on the Polygon mainnet would introduce inconsistencies in user assets, resulting in added complexity and reconciliation challenges. Therefore, migration presents a more favorable choice.
3. HypeSaints App is set to launch game cassettes later this year, focusing on casual, relaxed, social, and party game genres that cater to a wider audience of entertainment players rather than hardcore gamers. This aligns remarkably well with Telegram’s user base of 900 million individuals. We believe that migrating to TON, in the form of a Telegram mini app, will facilitate the mass adoption of HypeSaints.
4. At the end of May, we successfully graduated from the TON Foundation x Hashkey accelerator in Asia, forging stronger connections, collaborations, and support from the TON Foundation and Hashkey. This entails that HypeSaints’ development within the TON ecosystem will gain access to additional resources and foster frequent collaborations with other leading projects.

Impacts of the Migration:

1. First and foremost, we assure you that all user assets will be 100% preserved and seamlessly migrated. Users only need to bind their TON wallet addresses within the App to complete the migration process. Detailed migration instructions will be provided later this week.
2. After the completion of the Community Test, the App will only offer a binding migration entrance, and users will no longer be able to engage in gaming or other activities.
3. Genesis member privileges will be reset, requiring users to rebind their TON wallet addresses (after June 19th).
4. On June 19th, we will take a final snapshot as the definitive data for users to migrate their assets.

Please take note of the following migration timeline:

June 19th: UTC 12:00 — Snapshot completion, officially closing the gaming, mining, and trading functionalities of the HypeSaints App (Polygon version).

June 19th: UTC 14:00 — HypeSaints App (Polygon version) opens the interface for binding TON wallets. HypeSaints’ official website allows Genesis members to rebind their TON wallets. Migration instructions will be published.

June 19th: We will announce the reward program for all participants of the Community Test.

June 24th: UTC 12:00 — HypeSaints Mini App on TON launches. Previously bound users can log in to the HypeSaints Mini App on Telegram and witness the successful migration of their assets.

June 25th: UTC 12:00 (daily) — The HypeSaints team will refresh the list of users who bound their wallets after June 20th on a daily basis.

July 1st: The HypeSaints team will distribute TON HypeGear and $SAINT tokens to old users who completed the migration within the first week.
